In the beginning of 2001 Q&R acquired 35% of one of the biggest
educational centres for vocational training in Greece, Integration
S.A. (by scheduled participation of the former in the share
capital increase of the latter). With the assistance of the European
Union, the Ministry of Labour, the Greek Manpower Employment Organisation,
country districts and many private businesses, Integration S.A
develops new opportunities for specializations, careers and employment
for hundreds of new employees every year, confirming that human
resources is the new frontier for economic growth and social affluence.
The company offers professional qualifications in economics,
business administration, tourism and technical professions, to
employed and unemployed, business executives, self-employed, etc.
Integration S.A. has 6 years experience in vocational training,
with 990.000 man-hours of training and 250.000 man-hours of Professional
Counseling.
Integration S.A. has training centres and offices in Athens (headquarters),
Ioannina, Rethymnon and Kalamata. Their facilities include up
to date IT labs, supervisory means for electronic communication
with businesses, means for promoting employment.
Exceptional development in the area of Education is expected
in the next 6 years, mainly because of the 3rd Framework Programme
of the EU, which includes a budget that exceeds 235.000.000 Euro
only for IT, and is about 530.000.000 Euro for the Public and
Private sector.
With this co-operation Q&R makes an important step towards
its business goal to become a major provider of integrated educational
services that will combine in the best possible way standard classroom
training (c-learning), with the new method of digital distant
training (e-learning).
Q&R has a dynamic presence in the area of e-learning, offering
integrated solutions and products, Learning Management Systems,
ready-made educational material for IT and marketing and ASP (Application
Service Provider) services for the development and administration
of digital educational entities. This co-operation will enable
the two companies to maximize their penetration ability in the
area of education and training, and at the same time to promote
e-learning even more in the greek market, having at their disposal
diverse educational material that covers a wide spectrum of skills
and technologies.
Integration SA. was established in 1994 and today occupies thirty
specialized executives and hundreds of scientific associates and
trainers with a very high educational level, and several years
of scientific and work experience in the fields of development
and adaptation of human resources to the needs of the job market.
The company's total turnover for the fiscal year 2000 was 4.108.000
Euro and the profits (before taxes) 440.000 Euro. For the fiscal
year 2001 the estimates are 5.870.000 Euro for the total turnover
and 735.000 Euro for the profits (before taxes).
