Maritime Technology Innovative Solutions (MTIS), a member of the QnR Group, announces its participation in the European Defense Tech Hackathon, which will take place in Athens from February 27 to March 1, 2026, under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence.

The event will bring together more than 180 innovators, engineers, defense experts, and technology leaders from across Europe, aiming to collaboratively develop solutions to contemporary security challenges.

MTIS will contribute its specialized expertise in maritime technologies, systems integration, and applied innovation, actively participating in interdisciplinary teams that will explore practical applications in the fields of defense, surveillance, and operational resilience. The hackathon serves as a dynamic platform for rapid idea development and the creation of innovative solutions with tangible operational impact.

Through its participation, MTIS seeks to strengthen collaborative approaches to addressing complex operational challenges, with particular emphasis on maritime surveillance, critical infrastructure protection, and the utilization of advanced sensor technologies and data analytics.
